GET INVOLVED IN THE FUN!

Don’t just complete a distance be proud of it! This is an inclusive event with challenges that ensures accessibility for all young Londoners aged 18 and under. Distances can be completed running, walking, using a wheelchair, a frame or with assistance. The challenge closes on Friday 27th May.

School Challenge: Home Run!

Participants entering the school challenge can choose between 0.5km and 5km. Participants should complete the first half of their chosen distance at a slow pace, then the second half running as fast as they can back to their starting point. Their distance will count towards their school total and the school that runs the furthest collective distance (km) at the end of the challenge will be crowned Virtual Distance School run champions. The participants from the winning school will be entered into a draw to win a Nike prize!

Individual 2km Challenge!

Individual prizes are also up for grabs for the 2km Challenge. Participants have to complete the first half of the distance (1km) as fast as they can. They then must return to their starting point completing the distance.

Don’t forget it’s harder returning to your starting point!

Participants must submit a time for the 2km distance. The fastest male and female entrants will be crowned the Home run champions and awarded a pair of Nike trainers!

Challenges will be uploaded on the LYG website and participants can enter into the school or the individual challenge.
