About Us

The London Youth Games (LYG) Foundation delivers the largest annual youth sports event in Europe, offering competitive and participation opportunities to over 160,000 young Londoners aged 7 to 17 across 35 sports, in 33 boroughs.

Purpose Statement

The London Youth Games is dedicated to empowering young people through sports by providing a platform for participation, competition, and personal development. We strive to foster a spirit of inclusivity, teamwork, and excellence, encouraging youth from diverse backgrounds to engage in healthy lifestyles, build lasting friendships and develop essential life skills. We aim to inspire the next generation of athletes and leaders, creating a legacy of passion for sports and community engagement across London.

Young people represent their Boroughs through sport. All 32 Boroughs and the City of London come together to compete and play via 32+ sports

Young people represent their Schools. School Games uses sport to achieve positive outcomes for young people, delivered across London in partnership with School Games Orgranisers.
