Compete at the london youth games

Every Young Londoner’s Games

Our main competition programme includes 31 different sports and 90 different disciplines. Every London borough is invited to compete: so come along, get involved and represent.

School Games

Primary and secondary schools right across London come together every year at the School Games. They face off in four kinds of competition: intra school, local inter school, county finals and the School Games National Finals

The School Games are open to young people who go to school in a London borough with School Games Organisers in each borough organising teams to take part.

Open Games

Every year, 33 London boroughs set their sights on the Jubilee Trophy, the ultimate prize in our Open Games. Your borough’s top scores in every competition all get added together. Whoever has the most points is declared the winner.

The Open Games are open to young people who live or got to school in a London borough, with Borough Team organisers in each borough organising teams to take part.

our What our competitors say

“

This is one of the most exciting events any young Londoner could wish to experience because it’s like a mini World Cup and Olympic Games all rolled into one.

– Rachel Yankey

I was taken along to judo when I was six years old and I’ve been doing it ever since.
