The LYG33 session at Twickenham Stadium brought the team together for a day full of learning and collaboration at an iconic venue, with activities that encouraged both personal growth and team progress.

The day at Twickenham Stadium began with an icebreaker to get everyone warmed up for the day. We also celebrated recent LYG33 member successes at different events. Most of LYG33 participated in an employability workshop, where they learned some valuable tips on applications, interviews and how to prepare for future jobs and opportunities. In this time SLT worked on co-production targets, goals and improving communication within the group.

After this, each co-production teams gave a brief update on their current progress and future plans with the rest of LYG33. Next, we experienced a tour of Twickenham Stadium, which was fantastic to be a part of. To visit the England dressing room, pass through the players’ tunnel and stand pitch-side was an experience never to be forgotten.

We then shifted our focus to Connecting with Your Borough, where the entire team made individual action plans that demonstrated how they intend to make a difference in their boroughs. These will be further developed during the course of the season in an attempt to bring about actual change.

Our final workshop focused on content creation skills using CapCut, which we all found both fun and insightful. The day ended with discussions on developing plans and personal reflections.
