Get in touchSportsHall Athletics is the first event of the 2025 School Games calendar.
It’s an indoor form of track and field for children between the ages 9 – 12, focusing on fitness and multi-skill development.
LYG runs a year 5/6 mixed gender competition and a Year 7 and 8 girls and boys competition.
Competition intent: Highly competitive environment where winning can be the measure of success and level challenge is high, in order to further the development of young athletes. Local qualifying events are encouraged, with the winning school progressing to the County Final.
