3v3 basketball is the number one urban team sport in the world.

All you need is a hoop, a half-court and 6 players to play the game. It is a fast-paced spectacle!

You and your classmates can challenge other schools in London to test your basketball skills.

The following age categories are eligible to compete in this event:

Eligibility Criteria

Competition Tier: Higher

 Competition Intent: Highly competitive environment where winning is the measure of success and level of challenge is high, in order to further the development of young athletes. Local qualifying events are encouraged, with the winning school progressing to the county final.

Player Eligibility: Aimed at children and young people who enjoy competition and may regularly access training and coaching outside of the school environment. Participants are used to competing in sport inside and outside of school, have a higher skill ability and understand tactics and strategies in competitive game play situations.

 

SQUAD SIZE

Schools are permitted to bring a minimum of 3 competitors and a maximum of 6 competitors.

Teams must have a minimum of 1 boy and 1 girl.

ENTRY DEADLINE

The deadline to submit team entry and a school representative is;

5pm, Wednesday 22nd May 2024.

HOW TO ENTER

A school must be entered by a School Games Organiser, or a nominated team manager in advance of the deadline listed on the TeamSportz App.

No cafe on site. Vending machines available.

Toilets and Changing

Both available. However, we strongly recommend coming dressed ready for the activity.

Disabled parking bays, changing, toilets and lifts available.

The closest station is Leyton (central line).

Parking

There is limited free parking available at the venue which can be accessed via Osier Way. Please note, parking will be on a first-come-first served basis and is for teams only. There is no spectator parking available.
