After another exciting week of challenges, Bromley top the leaderboard as nearly 9,000 scores are submitted in week two of the London Youth Games virtual games

The London Youth Games Virtual Games go from strength to strength as children and young people from across London take on the three weekly challenges to earn points for their Borough.

Week Two saw a Crossover Dribble Basketball Challenge set by Chukwudi from Haringey and Freya from the London Titans Wheelchair Basketball Club, a Sit Out Judo Challenge set by Ethan and Ashton from Greenwich, and a Kick Up Football Challenge set by Reece and Gracie from Havering.

Bromley scored maximum points in the Crossover Dribble Basketball Challenge and the Sit Out Judo Challenge, while Camden claimed first place in the Kick Up Football Challenge. With Bromley out in front, Camden are currently second followed by Croydon, who drop down two places.

It’s all still to play for as we enter the third week of the London Youth Games Virtual Games. Week Three features a Dance challenge set by Koby and Allegra from Konverse Dance Crews in Barking and Dagenham, a Cycling challenge set by Jaheim from Lewisham and a Hockey challenge set by Saffy and Amelia from Croydon.

The London Youth Games Virtual Games is a four week competition, giving children and young people the chance to represent their Boroughs in a series of sport-related challenges that can be done at home, at school or while out for daily exercise.

Three weekly challenges are released every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 9.00am on the London Youth Games website and social media channels. Participants have until Friday at 12.00pm to complete the challenges and submit their scores. All the challenges relate to a London Youth Games sport and have been set by young Londoners with a connection to the Games.
