LEE VALLEY HOCKEY AND TENNIS CENTRE
With its state-of-the-art pitches and courts, this inspiring venue gives young athletes the incredible chance to be where world-class wheelchair tennis stars competed on the global stage at the Paralympics.
Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre was originally built for the London 2012 Paralympics.
COPPER BOX ARENA
Known as the “Box That Rocks,” this iconic arena inspires young athletes by offering the chance to be where handball and goalball events thrilled spectators during the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.
The Copper Box Arena is a world-class London 2012 Olympic venue, which hosted Team USA during the Olympics.

Activities could include:
Calisthenics – If you’ve ever seen crazy pull-up tricks or muscle-ups on TikTok, you know calisthenics is all about raw strength and skill. No gym needed, just you vs. gravity.
Ultimate Frisbee – Fast, competitive and way more intense than just tossing a frisbee in the park – Ultimate is big in unis and schools for a reason.
Archery – Your chance to feel like Legolas or Katniss and see how it feels to hit the bullseye. Step up, take aim and let the arrows fly.

Watch as participants develop their hockey and golf skills at our station based event at the home of GB hockey, Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre.

Watch the LYG School Games Dance Finals
There’s also the chance to visit the iconic Copper Box Arena to watch stunning routines from talented young dancers at the LYG Dance Finals. Performers compete across SEND, KS3, and KS4 categories. Expect dynamic routines across multiple styles, judged on concept, musicality, choreography and performance.
