Although table tennis (or ping-pong) has been made popular by the Chinese, it is actually a British invention. It is played around the world and is now an Olympic sport.

A fast game with small bats played across a nine foot table, the ball moves at an incredible pace.  Players need to have very quick reflexes and strong and flexible leg muscles to move quickly over short distances.  

Did you know: Tin-Tin Ho who became the first English girl ever to be selected for Europe at the World Cadet Challenge in 2012, first competed at the London Youth Games aged just five.
