The 2011 Balfour Beatty London Youth Games was the most successful in the event's 34 year history with a record 71,000 young participants from 33 London boroughs taking part across 30 sports.
There were 26 competition days taking place across London featuring 76 competitions, including Main Games, Mini Games, Central London School Games and Development Sports. There were competitions for individual sports, team sports, males, females, abled bodied and disabled.
Every year, the overall winner of the London Youth Games is awarded the Jubilee Trophy and for the first time in their history, Richmond collected the title as the 2011 'Champions of London'. The trophy winners were as follows:
